Owner of Roz Tranfield Beauty Centre, Roz Transfield was the winner of Michael W Halsalls Merseyside Woman of the Year Award in 2016. She has organized and taken part in many fundraising events in aid of The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity as well as running her highly successful salon.
Diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2014, Roz decided to fundraise for both cancer research and the centre where she is receiving her treatment. After a full mastectomy, reconstruction and chemotherapy she has been tirelessly mentoring fellow breast cancer patients.
Over the past year she has tirelessly fundraised through a series of events including fashion shows, afternoon teas and the grueling Liverpool Nightrider Bike Ride 2016 which included a 100km circular route which was designed as three loops, with a 50km loop across the Wirral and two x 25km loops in and around the city.
This year she will also be taking part in the Liverpool Nightrider Bike Ride on 15th - 16th July 2017 and she’s calling for additional members to become part of her fundraising team for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Roz will be cycling 100km through Liverpool and Wirral under the moonlight on 15th July – 16th July 2017.
Roz said: “Please join me for this amazing event. Funding clinical trials onto new treatments is the only way we’re ever going to beat cancer, you can be a part of this by signing up today and joining team Clatterbridge.”
All Clatterbridge cyclists will receive a pair of green LED shoe lights (sponsored by Roz Tranfield) to be worn on the night.
